Head of School Appointment

As communicated before the half-term break, following the appointment of Emma Steele as Principal of Dixons Music Primary at the end of April 2023, the trust has successfully appointed Nicola Morrissey (formerly Miss Parry, who got married during the February half-term) as Head of School.

Mrs Morrissey started her journey at Dixons as a student at Dixons City Academy and was Dixons Music’s first class teacher when the academy opened in 2012 with 30 students. Mrs Morrissey has been an exceptional teacher, middle leader and senior leader who will continue to ensure the academy goes from strength to strength. I know you will join me in congratulating Mrs Morrissey on her thoroughly deserved appointment to the role.

Mrs Morrissey will oversee the day-to-day running of the academy as Head of School and will work with Miss Steele who will support strategically across both Dixons Music and Dixons Trinity Academy as Principal.
